Science appears brilliant and beyond question, yet in many cases it offers no explanation at all.

Times change, society evolves, and the human disease spectrum shifts alongside changing lifestyles. Public health undoubtedly plays a significant role — but are our current methods of assessment truly reasonable?

The overwhelming sense is that medicine — modern medicine in particular — remains a commercial enterprise cloaked in the garb of science.
