A few weeks ago, a one- or two-year-old child came to the outpatient clinic with persistent epistaxis. The bleeding would only subside when the child stayed at the beach; back home inland, the nose would bleed incessantly every single day. I initially thought that using Imperata cylindrica root might stop it, but it only worked while the child was taking the medicine — the bleeding would return as soon as the herbs were discontinued.
Later, the family obtained a folk remedy: they pressed fresh sea buckthorn berries into juice and had the child drink it frequently throughout the day. Within a matter of days, the bleeding stopped completely. It was nothing short of remarkable.
I am recording this here now to observe its long-term effects.

前几周门诊来了一两岁小儿，鼻衄不止，只有去海边居住时才恢复正常，如若在家（内陆）则每日流血不止，本以为用白茅根能止住，但只有服药时有用，停药后又反复，后其家人收到秘方，用沙棘果榨汁每日频服，没几日便血止，可谓神效。今记录在此，以观后效。
