Urban management capacity in Tianjin urgently needs to be improved

On Wednesday, there was an urgent matter to go to Tianjin. When I left, the heavy rain in Beijing had just stopped. It took a total of half an hour to get from the unit to the K45 train. It was still relatively smooth. I thought that the trip to Tianjin would be very successful, but various problems appeared as soon as I arrived in Tianjin.

The first is the planning problem of Tianjin West Station. The West Station is very new, very large, very good, but the sign pointing to the sign is very problematic, so it is unclear, especially the direction of the key destination is very vague, the transfer road is too long, too tortuous, for example, I want to go to the bus station, he has to write the bus south station, as if there is a bus north station, afraid to go to the wrong place, this problem is the same as Beijing West Station, the essence is a manifestation of low management ability. I am very interested in Tucao Beijing West Station. No matter what the design of this station is, the management is absolutely chaotic, and the settings everywhere can obviously feel what the leader’s brain is deciding.

Secondly, the West Railway Station is too empty. As an important transportation hub in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Tianjin West Railway Station is too empty, attracting investment is not enough, and there is no atmosphere of a key passenger terminal of a municipality directly under the Central Government. This problem should be solved by the municipal government of the CPC Municipal Committee. It is completely unclear how it was arranged at the time of planning.

The third is the problem of road area water in Tianjin, which is really difficult to understand. Tianjin, a city that looks very, very high-grade, actually has water everywhere, and there is water in front of the bus stop, under the bridge, and at the intersection. I walked all the way from the north to the south, and after careful observation, I found that the reason was that the manhole cover position was not reasonable!!! The sewage outlet on the pavement in Tianjin is actually placed at a high place on the pavement, and the bus stop has become a low place, and there is no sewage outlet, resulting in the accumulated water can not be discharged, and sanitation workers need to work together to push the accumulated water to the manhole cover at a high place, which is absolutely amazing!!! Is this a means for Tianjin City to promote population employment? Anyway, I saw a lot of cleaners “pushing” the water on the road.

It was raining so hard in Beijing that my shoes didn’t get wet. It had stopped raining in Tianjin for a long time, and I actually got wet three times. I was very convinced about this.

The fourth is the problem of urban positioning and rail transit in Tianjin. I really encountered the subway leakage, but Beijing will also leak. I have also seen a large area of leakage on Line 14. However, the subway security check in Tianjin actually plays the content of the Beijing subway security check, and I feel as if I have returned to the great capital. I don’t understand whether Tianjin is a municipality directly under the Central Government or a district of Beijing?

I hope that Tianjin can learn well from the experience of urban development in other regions, and do not blindly urbanize. The blind consequence is that it looks prosperous. In fact, it is worse, more difficult to manage, and the people’s livelihood problem is more difficult. Hopefully Tianjin will be better!
