Written late at night on Teacher’s Day

Compared with last year, many more people wished me a happy Teacher’s Day this year. Not only the students I taught, but also friends, classmates, and even patients I helped. They felt very happy and felt the sacredness of the profession, because Doctors’ Day is basically just for people in the circle to entertain themselves, and there is no comparison at all.
According to the arrangement of the college, starting from the registration of new students next week, I will serve as a class counselor, commonly known as a class teacher, for two undergraduate and graduate classes in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This year, I was hired as a master’s tutor on the day before my birthday. I will probably have to take care of two apprentices. Preaching, teaching, and solving doubts is no longer an empty talk for me. Fortunately, I have the beautiful vision of having students all over the world to support me, and I hope to be able to provide useful talents to the society.
Confucius said: Where there is education, there is no distinction. Today I went to the new campus for training. I stood in front of the statue of Confucius several times, looking up at this saint from two thousand years ago, and I was very impressed. We always talk about how today’s students are different from those in the past. In fact, after reading the Analects and thinking about Confucius’ disciples, I feel that the diversity of students has existed since ancient times, and the diversity of learning purposes has also existed since ancient times. We have no reason to blame students. Being a teacher is nothing more than helping followers realize their dreams.

跟去年相比，今年教师节祝我节日快乐的人多了许多，不光有自己教过的学生，还有朋友，同学，甚至帮助过的患者，感觉很开心，也感受到了职业的神圣， 因为医师节基本上就是圈里人自娱自乐罢了，完全没有可比性。

按照学院部署，自下周新生报到开始，我将担任两个中医专业本科班和研究生班的班级辅导员，俗称班主任，今年又在生日前一天被聘为硕导，估计还得带俩亲徒弟，传道授业解惑对我而言再也不是一句空话了，好在有桃李满天下的美好愿景支撑着我，希望能够为社会输送有用的人才。

子曰：有教无类。今天去新校区参加培训，几次伫立在孔子雕像前，仰望着这位两千年前的圣人，心里很是赞叹。我们总是说现在的学生跟以前怎么怎么不一样，其实读一读论语，想一想孔子的弟子，感觉学生的多样化自古有之，学习目的的多样性亦自古有之，我们没有任何理由责备学生，当老师无非是帮助追随者们实现他们的梦想罢了。
